That all sounds fine Turbo but let it be known we have not lost a final when Maggi my super cat has been inside for the game, she's getting on a bit like me and has got a bit feral again a bit like me and hard to get inside these days, I'll be buying a tin of Pal to entice her Friday night.
I know Pal really isn't for cats but I don't want to waste a good tin of pet food if she won't come in and it will be o/k on toast at half time.

Stroke your pussy till your fingers callus up.

Guess what i have on this saturday...??!!
You sound like your holding up alright there mate,my first couple didn't last long either good luck with this one,you eventualy find the right one.:)

Sorry to intrude on your thread guys.

My dad's cat "Buddy" got run over by a car last week. Either it's a sign of "bad" things for Hawks or a bad omen for the Cats getting done tomorrow.

Tough one but which way would you guys lean for the meaning of this. I'm in two minds at the moment.

Up here in Brisbane, the program immediately following the footy coverage on Friday night is called "Dead Birds".

Could not believe it when I saw it.

Even checked the program description to see whether it was highlights of the 2011 AFL finals series.:thumbsu:

Or it could mean Franklin is leaving for a better world.

Then again, it is GWS....*

*BTW, I do feel sorry for the cat...and your Dad.

KPF misses from 5m out on a slight angle sends the overwhelming favourite into halftime with only a slight lead.
Now we just need a tubby man to go berserk for us this quarter

We haven't had too many 'omens' of late to keep us positive, so here are a couple that just came to mind:

1. A small defender injures his ACL in the pre-season and is out for the year (Jackson Thurlow 2016 - Josh Hunt 2009). While we all thought it would completely ruin our exits from defensive 50 not having Hunt's precise boot, we managed to cover his loss brilliantly. Can we do the same now that Thurlow is out for the year? Is Ruggles capable of filling the breach?

2. geelong_crazy26 starts ridiculous thread about Geelong winning the flag and has to defend himself against not only opposition supporters, but basically every Cats poster as well (see 2007 threads - unfortunately I can't search back far enough to give a link to the threads he started but I recall them vividly). Everyone labeled him a nutcase (no argument from me :p) and argued with him till they were blue in the face... and yet at the end of the year we held the cup aloft. His activity of recent days is eerily similar to early 2007. Hoping there is some sense to his apparent delusions.

Any other omens people are observing?? (this is just a bit of fun and not in any way a symptom of getting ahead of ourselves :))
