Last time we beat West Coast at Kardinia Park when they were the reigning premiers we went on to win the premiership.
Excellent.
Is that correct, not at Geelong since 2007 have we beaten them?
That is astounding.

The omen was two parts:

Part 1:
Last time we beat West Coast at Kardinia Park

Part 2:
when they were the reigning premiers we went on to win the premiership.

So the last time WCE won the flag was 2006, and the next time we played them at home we won, and then went onto win the flag.

The last time West Coast came to Geelong when they were the reigning premiers (2007) we beat them.
That year (2007) we went on to be premiers.

No need to do that.
Your original post is a beauty, and worthy of many reading it.
My error for not reading it properly.

Not enough commas.
Last time, we beat, West Coast at Kardinia Park, when they were the reigning, premiers we went, on to win, the premiership.

My son is our barometer - he has travelled to Melbourne for the 2007,2011 GF's and around 5 home games over the last few years - all W's no L's
I'm moving him to Melbourne for September and ensuring he gets tickets to all Finals we play :)

Congrats to you and the family.

Our three children (first a boy, than two girls) were all born in premiership years, 07-09-11. John Harms (fellow Cats tragic) also experienced this synergy of joy in his household.

But given neither of our families is saddling up again in 2019, we're all relying on you now, Willo_!

2019 - Number 35 wins the Cargi, the following year ???

Shame that didn't work for the last two times Paddy won. Third time lucky perhaps?
