The bloke has been a mess since he stopped playing.

I was in Liverpool back in 06 and ran into him on a bender at the casino. Also smoked like a chimney. One of those old fashioned players that probably couldnt survive in todays game.

I remember Basler from Bayern also being an absolute piss head.

The VAR interpretation of handball in the premier league isn't going to be the same as internationals/champions League according to talkshite.

Don't hold out great hopes for VAR but that's got to be a good thing imo.

Rashford signs a 200k a week deal. **** me that's an overpayment and a half.. actually more like double. He's done **** all and he gets that?

I am sure there are plenty of Everton players getting paid more money in a week than what they’re worth, except on a smaller scale. Schneiderlin and Walcott are both on 100k a week each. What have they done in their careers to be worth close to that?

Lately in baseball, the best player in the world and one of the best in history signed a 12 year/$426M contract. In basketball, a player recently signed a contract worth 4 years/$196M. In other nutty news, Scottie Pippen has amended a lawsuit suing a married couple for damages to his $10M mansion to include the couples 5 year old daughter. Am I supposed to care how much money a bunch of random, greedy millionaires earn after that?

Rashford can stop getting paid one more cent for the rest of his career and he’d probably still live comfortably for the rest of his life. Whether he plays on 5k a week or 200k a week it’s all the same to me.

Nice melt.

What’s so nice about it? That Everton finished 8th and a couple of players are on $100k, which according to online research is just under less than double what the highest Wolves player was on last season? I think the problem lies in that there is still a shocked reaction to sports contracts. Yes, Rashford shouldn’t be on £200k a week. Walcott shouldn’t be on £100k a week. Ronaldo shouldn’t be on £535k a week. These contracts are ridiculous. It isn’t a Manchester United thing because they can afford it. Any club can overpay a player, like Everton are doing.

That was before his hattrick in Amsterdam too. Rashford is fleecing United given the output
