Fair enough.Lehmann is overrated.
Szczesny is just as good.
He was excellent for a sustained period IMO.

Considering one deflected goal can mean no clean sheet and no chance of a keeper saving it, ditto an OG. Clean sheets also don't say whether a GK has been worked. Pretty sure some of them have been 0 save performances this season.Clean Sheet % isn't necessarily the best metric to judge a GK by unless you're also factoring in who played in front of him and what the team's overall defensive set up is
You don’t know it but this post just gave Bradesmaen a raging boner.Whenever the opposition counter attack, TAA seems to be badly out of position and good teams target him. He'd be good when England are playing minnows but not when they are playing the better sides.
Better, but still lacks some context imoWhat about save %?

But Milan is guaranteed to at least make the UEL (and could even finish 2nd if they beat Atalanta this weekend)Based off twitter action today starting to think a few of my fellow fans need to watch Sunderland Til I die again and get some perspective.
So many precious fans saying they won’t renew their season ticket.
What we have to complain about pales in comparison to most clubs in the pyramid. Woe is us we may miss European Football. Woe is us our best player may leave.

A lot of Spurs season ticket holders are still very upset by the ESL. They are just doing what they think is best to force change. Spurs making them sit out of site of the cameras so they can promote their sponsors was a bit crass. There were a few punch ons between fans at the villa game too. That is very very rare for spurs fans.Based off twitter action today starting to think a few of my fellow fans need to watch Sunderland Til I die again and get some perspective.

I have zero issues if a fan wants out over ESL fwiw. I became ENIC out because of it.A lot of Spurs season ticket holders are still very upset by the ESL. Why does Reina have no business being named with those other keepers? I think people get mixed up with team awards over individual success. No business being mentioned with those other names IMO.
Seaman and VDS should be in there too IMO.
But this is the PL HOF not the world football HOF. And VDS has no business on that list.I'd not even have Pepe Reina in the best 10 GKs of this century
Not necessarily in order;
Buffon, Kahn, Neuer, Cech, VDS, Casillas, Lehmann, Alisson, Julio Cesar, Dida, Oblak, Valdes

Oh dear JodWhy does Reina have no business being named with those other keepers? I think people get mixed up with team awards over individual success.
You say VDS should be in.
VDS has 1 Golden Gloves, Reina has 3 which is the second best all time.
VDS CS % is 42.17, 3rd all time. Reina's is 45.79, 1st all time.
VDS has 132 clean sheets, Reina has 136.
So tell me again how Reina shouldnt be mentioned with those guys?

Because he isn't as good as them? Thought that was fairly clear. Why does Reina have no business being named with those other keepers? I think people get mixed up with team awards over individual success.

Im not even saying he should go in, but after Schmeichel and Cech, he's on that next level with guys like Seaman, VDS etc. I was most arguing that he wasnt on that level which IMO he clearly is.Not sure any keepers beside Cech and Schmeichel deserve to get in.
Well I guess stats say otherwise but we're all entitled to our opinions.Because he isn't as good as them? Thought that was fairly clear.
Hopefully they dont dilute it by trying to add footballers every year.Im not even saying he should go in, but after Schmeichel and Cech, he's on that next level with guys like Seaman, VDS etc. I was most arguing that he wasnt on that level which IMO he clearly is.
Be interesting to see if the HOF rewards longevity with GKs like Schwarzer, David James etc... I hope not.
The biggest problems with HOF's is they become real easy to get into. Instead of rewarding the best of the best, almost anybody ends up getting in. The Basketball HOF is a mess.
Yeah... I wonder if Cousins will ever get in given his erm... situation.Hopefully they dont dilute it by trying to add footballers every year.
And it'll be interesting to see what they do with Giggs, its a Ablett Snr type situation.
