Gee that makes for disturbing reading.
Had a chat a few weeks ago with a client who is a Spurs season ticket holder. He was saying that 20 years ago, football fans would be on the piss early doors and made it a day out getting absolutely battered. These days everyone is on the gear. Early kickoffs has probably contributed to it too. It's cheap and easily accessible over here.

Wouldn't want 99% of football fans to have any say in the running of the game.

Football authorities have more common sense, and they have very little.
