And more games in already long seasons.I liked Todd's suggestion of play offs for the 4th CL spot as well as for the final relegation spot. Creates more interest later into the season for more clubs.

There's nothing wrong with the way it is now. If you finish 18th, you deserve to go down.
Personally I think yes.
So what? Happens in every division. The majority of clubs will fall into the positions around midtable with nothing to play for a long way out.Disagree massively. You end up with a third of the division with nothing to play for with a month or 6 weeks left in the season which is just awful. Even if you just had 17th and 18th play off with the loser going down, it would add a lot more excitement for a single additional game (for teams that by and large are only playing 40-42 games in their season, not a ridiculous amount).

17th and 18th would cause other problems. The last match of the season, they'd play no one so that they're fresh for this new relegation 'final'. That then potentially impacts other results and where teams finish.
But also, 18th doesn't deserve to stay up...
Change for change sake is rarely good.
Take the 2020/21 season.

Sorry but Fulham don't deserve to stay up over Burnley based on a one off result when they've finished 11 points behind 17th.
Who knows. They drew with Burnley at Turf Moor during the season.Based on that table what makes you think Fulham would have beaten Burnley? If you think a one-off game would be too much risk for Burnley make it two legs home and away.
I think there's a lot of merit in it taking place and don't think it's something that should be automatically dismissed just because it's new.

It's just completely unnecessary to me. They play a full season to determine their finishing position. Football doesn't need finals, they have cups for that. The unique thing about a football league is that there shouldn't be finals.
Carlsberg then.Probably watered down piss.
