Who was the best. The best player. Clearly Suarez.
Someone who plays for Liverpool obviously.

It's the other way around, you guys overrate Vidic who just happened to play for a really good team which is why he won lots of trophies. Torres showed him up time and time again. The tweet was asking “Who was the greatest January transfer”. Of the 5 players featured, everyone except for Suarez won proper silverware. Vidic did it much more than anyone else on the list, whilst being what Liverpool supporters currently consider VVD.
Some of your supporters overrate the hell out of Suarez just because he happened to score as many PL goals as Ronaldo and Shearer in a single season and scored 30 goals in the previous season. At the end of the draw against Crystal Palace and with Liverpool still leading the league, Suarez started crying in Gerrard’s arms which just added to the lore and how your supporters view Suarez. I am not disputing that Suarez wasn’t a great player for Liverpool but Vidic was the greatest January signing on that list, by far.
It’s not just United fans saying thoughIt's the other way around, you guys overrate Vidic who just happened to play for a really good team which is why he won lots of trophies. Torres showed him up time and time again.

Three people had Suarez's measure... Bakkal, Ivanovic and Chiellini had his teeth measurements.Whoa! One player had Vidic’s measure lol.
Torres showed him up time and time again.
Yeah but Liverpool broThis is actually one of the biggest myths in football.
United fans have debunked this one by actually reviewing all the footage from games where Vidic and Torres both featured. In one of their first meetings Torres got the upper hand and Vidic got sent off but outside of that they very rarely even got near each other. Rio Ferdinand and Jonny Evans always got the job on Torres.
Torres' goal scoring record in games where Vidic was in the opposing team is 3/15 FWIW.
And Alex Bruce.Three people had Suarez's measure... Bakkal, Ivanovic and Chiellini had his teeth measurements.
“I lost my balance and my face hit the player, hurting my teeth”.
I didn’t make the quote up, unfortunately.

“Yo, um, I must've like, fallen on a bullet, and it like, drove itself into my gut”
Great scene that one too....
A lot of Man United fans won't remember Vidic, he was before their time as bandwagoners.
