I heard recently that the new Simpsons season was actually worth checking out and I've been pleasantly surprised at the quality of the first four eps. You might wanna check them out.

Don't think it's out yet. But one of the new eps was a 'clip-show' style ep showing alternate events for early eps, each goes for like 1-2 mins. But they address some of the great conspiracies online like Homer being in a coma since jumping the gorge, Ralph's real Dad, etc. surprisingly funny.

I don’t have Disney+ but have heard that it’s on there. I used to watch it when it was on Channel 10 at 6PM (I think that was the time), the first 12-15 seasons where absolutely quality. I have heard it really dipped in quality pretty much from that point but that’s to be expected after 33 seasons and counting lol.

Amazed its still going, I wouldn't have seen any in the last 12-15 years at a guess. There'll never be anything quite like the peak years, the glory days of The Simpsons.

My sons asked to watch one with me last week, we sat through Deep Space Homer together. I was on the floor laughing even though I've seen it 100 times and could quote my way through it still. I've been saving a set of the Lego Simpsons house for them, shortly after after we opened that up to build (complete with the inanimate carbon rod of course). Special times

Sure 12 seasons isn't bad, but it's no Doctor Who!

It was a Treehouse of Horror segment which parodied Death Note. I haven't seen it, but apparently they did a decent job of it, and were pretty dedicated to the original series.

South Korea seem royally pissed. They applied to host the tournament and haven't done so since 1960. Tournament is also running in June / July - a time frame deemed unsuitable for Qatar to host (likely will be moved to January 2024).


What a farce.

Just as well we hosted it in 2015. Don't expect us, or anywhere outside of the Middle East and China to host it in the foreseeable future.

China will still be pursuing covid zero for the next 30 years and never host again!


Quite ridiculous that Sth Korea didnt get the tournament after not hosting for 60 + years and being next door to China with a similar climate. Qatar hosted in 2011.

I reckon teams will boycott a June / July Qatar tournament in 40+ heat.
