I was hoping India would get it, would be ideal in continuing to grow the game there (it's already popular in parts of the south). That will now be four of the last five cups in the Middle East including three in a row. Makes Qatar getting it over Korea next year even more farcical.

Wasps are dead. The value in that area is in the casino and entertainment areas iirc. Wasps were hoping that would fund the stadium debt and there running costs but covid killed them.
