Breaking News from Newcastle.

Whataboutism is always the first fall back option of the sport washed. Second option is we don't think about it, only you do. They quickly end up supporting/defending the regime rather than the team.

It's more they don't seem to have a clue what sportswashing actually is.

In their minds everyone is sportswashing.

Pep has played Foden in a variety of roles. He was outstanding recently against Newcastle in an attacking central midfield position.

I question why the England national manager, who is paid £5m a year, is deferring to another coach about how to play certain players. Just appoint the bloke who know what he's doing, not the muppet who has never won a thing as a coach at either club or country level.

I’ve really gone off Southgate. I never really rated him as a manager but have always felt some of the negativity around him was over the top and that he deserved much more credit for changing the culture of the England team.

But lately he’s been chatting some real rubbish.

Chat shit get banged?

But lately he’s been chatting some real rubbish.

He used to be humble - he's got a lot to be humble about. But lately he's been sounding a little arrogant. I wouldn't care so much what crap he says in the press conferences if he got things right on the field.

For a long time every English fan was screaming that Grealish should be in the team. It was like when when he signed for City Southgate thought "oh he must be a good player" and picked him. He continues to put Henderson and Maguire in the first 11. Sterling has been back to his best form this season but he picks Nketiah instead.

Tactically he's a dinosaur. The top PL managers all use a ball playing goalkeeper and one of the full backs pushing into midfield. Southgate persists with a fairly rigid back 4 or 5 with Pickford hoofing it and the team losing possession more often than not. I think he's been kissed on the dick to have a very good set of players that have papered over his shortcomings.

Reckon he's probably the best example I can think where I've totally changed my opinion of a player.

I remember when we signed him and I couldn't have cared less if he came or not. Certainly thought the price tag was too high but turned out to be a bargain.
