Haaland? He was no chance, he didn't play at the World Cup.
I agree with you but it shows how silly the award is.Haaland? He was no chance, he didn't play at the World Cup. Best chances were Alvarez or Mbappe.

He essentially is punished because of where he was born.
They finished behind the Netherlands and Turkey. Turkey and Norway are ranked right next to each other. Not sure it can be argued they should've made it through easily.Well it's also just the ability to perform across a range of tournaments. For example not qualifying for the Euros in a group where they should have easily made it through has to count against him (and Odegaard) to some extent.

Not really my point though, once Argentina won the World Cup, it was always going to Messi. Haaland will never have that luxury. Will be similar to Lewandowski throughout his career where he'll probably be the best player in a given year but playing for a weaker country will come back to bite.
Oh apologies, was looking at World Cup which now I realise makes no sense.Euros? They finished behind Spain and Scotland. I thought this was judged on this calendar year.
A random Odegaard mention in a Ballon D'Or discussion.
Bro is a washed up hack at a small club.
Dissing Le Arse is never a part time job. It's an always thing.Art Vandelay and Arsenal - a love story as old as time![]()
I mean it kind of matters because the WC plays a part in this ballon d'or. The qualification period he was injured for parts.Oh apologies, was looking at World Cup which now I realise makes no sense.
I'm coming off 3 hours sleep, very little is making sense to me right now haha

The Saudi’s aren’t having a great time of it lately. First Tonali and now Neymar’s ACL injury two months after giving him a 2 year, €300-400 million contract.
Got to say Al Hilal’s tweet about it is, well…
Surely you don’t use images of Neymar in pain?![]()
