A Chelsea academy product a part of the same generation as Chopper, Osgood, Tambling, Hollins, Bonetti etc who made us relevant through the 60s when the Doc was coaching us.

When he was the Socceroos head coach, I always felt bad for him that he couldn't get us to qualify for France 98 after the team squandered a 2-goal lead against Iran.
