Jesus you have a moan about anything don't you? Miserable pom.
Said the bloke whinging (again) about someone expressing an opinion on a football message board.

Weren’t they supposed to be giving out yellow cards for any dissent? They’re not even enforcing that law properly. I think if they were strict on it and handed out cards regularly it would stop pretty quick.

Sin bins doesn’t address any issue, it’s just another tool for referees to use inconsistently and wreck more games.

Obviously like anything yellows for dissent are up to the discretion of the referee.

Would be a bit much to book every single player who showed disagreement towards a decision.

You book the ones that take it too far or who repeatedly do it. Not the guy who expresses some mild frustration (without using abusive language) & gets on with the game.

My understanding of a sin bin is if a team wants their player to return to the game they play with a man less for 10 mins. They can sub the sinbinned player immediately but that's the end of the game for him.

Not quite sure how that would work with keeper sin bins.

Also believe any player who needs medical treatment should be excluded from the game for 5 mins before returning. That should mitigate the instances of players feigning injury.
Unfortunate for the players that need medical treatment, because they need treatment.

The point of a sin bin is to punish the player not the team.
A 10 min rest will change the whole game if team remains 11 players ..basically becomes an interchange bench easily exploited. It’ll definitely be 10 men and that will be to the detriment of the game

It'll be stupid if it's 10 men because teams will just waste time until the 10 minutes is over.

Yep that’s the biggest gripe. Imagine a pulsating end to end with a little aggro..say recent Chelsea-City game …and you kill the momentum with thee bs 10 min periods. Rubbish

Today v Everton, Gibbs-White yelled “**** off” whilst looking straight at the ref and then did some gesturing towards the sideline and didn’t even get a talking to. Its not a rule they take seriously at all, but you also don’t want it to go as far as the AFL did
