I think there are more damaging things to the game than what Arteta does.

Definitely a very emotional man who wears his heart on his sleeve, sometimes to his/the team's detriment.

I do not think we should sack him either.

Next season will be very telling.

Yes, injuries crucified us. If - and I am using Liverpool as an example here because you're champions - had the same amount of injuries, for the same length and losing your best player(s), there is no way you'd be Champions.

And that's not a criticism.
Nah I don't buy this.

Too many points dropped, especially from winning positions, no matter who has been available this season. The opposite of being a clutch team, besides the very nice CL run. They could finish on 70 points. Do they ever finish a PL campaign well under Arteta?

Liverpool have deserved this season's title but it came during a massive lull in Man City's form. Both sides have to improve their squad. The obvious one for Liverpool is replacing Darwin Nunez.

Inanimate carbon rod comes to mind, though he did score 2 against Brentford that were important.

Arteta has a lot of good points but also a lot of flaws. I think he struggles to find the right balance to the emotional side of the game, and this season I think he's been found wanting a bit tactically.

I wouldn't be sacking him, but he has spent an awful lot of money with just the fa cup to show for it. Not sure how long I would give him.

In general I think he is damaging for the game, and Arsenal's reputation with his moaning, and obvious encouragement to the Arsenal players in the use of the dark arts. Most people should be enjoying Arsenal's return to the to top end of the table but I've met very few that don't despise the side Arsenal has become.

Arteta is unlikeable and projects insecurity of his place as a top level manager.

Now he's trying to make a big deal out of that Arsenal got more points in the last two seasons than Liverpool have won the title with this season.

Perhaps a deal in Saudi may be needed now haha.

Although by the sounds of Mrs Vardy's social life I doubt she'd be too happy with that!
I assume 1.4m is basically chump change for that lot. I doubt the Rooney's even notice it.

The Lisbon derby on Saturday is set to decide this season's Primeira Liga. They are both on 78 points. Head to head takes precedent over goal difference. Sporting won 1-0 earlier in the season.

Which means, regardless of the final day results and GD, if Sporting win on Saturday, they will be champions, while if Benfica win by a 2 goal margin, they will reclaim the title.

McSauce getting involved.

"Oh my goodness, the tomatoes. I never ate them at home, they're just red water. Here, they actually taste like tomatoes. Now I eat them as a snack. I eat all the vegetables, all of the fruits. It is all so fresh. It's incredible."

Thanks Sandra Sulley. šŸ˜‚

Where do we stand with European qualification now?

Top 5 get champions league plus the winner of United and Spurs.

Palace are in the Europa league plus 6th place.

Newcastle are in the conference league plus 7th place? And if Newcastle qualify for the champions league or europa league through the league their conference place will go to 8th place.

Is that right?
