To be fair, prior to Moshiri coming in it would be relatively accurate. We were a financially small club but with Moyes and some shrewd investments we were competing up the top. From 2006-07 to 2013-14 the lowest we finished was 8th. We bought in bargains like Cahill, Arteta, Lescott, Jagielka and Baines.
