It is between Crown (Burswood Casino) and Belmont Park Race Course. I think they may be building a new train station for it as well.

Fair enough, it'd need a train station nearby or it's going to be a nightmare to get home from wouldn't it?

Well there are 2 existing stations at Belmont Park and Burswood. The main complaint is for people north of the river.

I don't mind that stadium myself. Its certainly nothing groundbreaking but it isn't ugly by any stretch of the imagination. Been reading that the bronze exterior cladding is reference to the geology of the city.

It's located near two major roads - Great Eastern High Way and the Farmer Freeway so it shouldn't be too bad for most people. Subi is a ****ing nightmare for anyone living south of the river.

It will have a 6-platform train station and a walk bridge spanning across the Swan River to link it to the city.

but no car parks.

Its the way of the world nowadays, apartment complexes can get away with not providing enough car parking as long as there is a tram/train station nearby. Everyone still drives and the streets are clogged with cars.

Construction has started and should be ready by the start of the 2018 AFL season.
