I'm not really much of a visitor to the football forum... Now that I've had a look around I'm not quite sure why!

Anyway, I guess this is the appropriate place to leave my stray dog of a question.

I'm not a gambler on football. At all really. So it was only tonight when I was on Sportsbet counting this weekends AFL winnings D) that I realised I could stream games from the French Ligue 1.

This is awesome!

Anyway, I had a quick look around the website and couldn't find streams for any other leagues. I know that between Fox Sports, SBS, ESPN, BeIN and Eurosport there's probably not much else available - but are there any other leagues available through Sportsbet or through any other betting sites that people are aware of? (I don't care enough to set up VPNs and all that - I just wish I had better access to some of the big games in Germany and Holland more than anything, and I'm arsed if I'm paying what BeIN wants for one channel.)

Sportsbet streams most televised games I'm pretty sure? So you'll get all PL, some Championship, and some other leagues I would think.

Nah man, you don't get any of that stuff - from the matches that are on tonight, the Ligue 1 matches are all that's on. Of course they wouldn't be showing Premier League - Fox Sports pays a shitload for tv and streaming rights. They're not about to let sportsbet show it for free to their members. (The sportsbet page actually puts up a little icon if the the game is going to be on Fox Sports).

I'm very sure you do since I know a lot of people watched our game against Wolves through betting sites. Sportsbet might not, but they definitely had the League Cup games during the week.

I think you'd find that Sportsbet can't because they're Australian. Someone like a Bet365 wouldn't be goverened by our laws so might have an easier time of showing the PL etc.

Well Sportsbet definitely had the League Cup games on a stream midweek, because I remember seeing the 'Watch Live' symbol next to Pompey-Derby when betting on them.

Again I could be wrong (I normally am) but I'd say it's because no Australian station has the rights to the League Cup.
