SM - Do you have a membership th could get me in the away section?
If so, can I use it? And if so, I promise Ill turn up in Hull colours (Will just buy a Shakhtar Donetsk kit)

Obviously this is tbd depending on matchtimes.
Don't have an ongoing membership. I've been told whenever I'm in town I can get free tickets from the club.

Wow how'd you manage that?
Being the only Australian with a season pass who flew over for three months at my age suitably impressed them. [emoji14]

I'm yet to actually test the offer though haha. At the time they sorted my remaining away tickets though so me and a friend saw us play Palace for free.

Wanna test it (if I can get to that game?) :p

I think they'd only honour it if it was actually me going to the game.. don't think they'd be ok with me having an open tab with the club for tickets. :P

Sounds like it was a good day then :p
Is there much of a network of Hull supporters here?
I think a small amount turned up to one of Adelaide's better sports bars for the FA Cup final.
And if IIRC, SM showed about 1-2 dozen (in a sea of 1-2 hundred) in Sydney for the FA CUp final.

550 and growing as per the Facebook group. I started it around the end of the 2012/13 season when we got promoted, so pretty incredible growth. I remember at the time thinking if there was 100 that'd be amazing. There's something like 1500 Everton fans in their corresponding group to give an idea of how impressive that number is.

If anything it was the other way around. About 40-50 Hull supporters in Sydney for the Cup Final with about 10-15 Arsenal supporters. To be fair there was a chunk of neutrals as well but the vast majority of support was for Hull. Cheers hung up our Hull flag and we had chants going all game so was definitely weighted in our favour.

The Melbourne chapter has semi-regular meet ups for games at a pub in Melbourne (name escapes me) and looks to be about 10-15 of them.

That's one thing with Adelaide. Huge amounts for the big 5 (big 4 + Manchester City)
Not many other.
At my work its Chelsea, heaps of MU, Liverpool and a few Stoke (weirdly) don't know any Arsenal supporters at all tbh

I think my friend said she's in the Sydney one? Not sure on the numbers though.

At my work there's minimal football.
There's me then 1 who claims to be a gooner, but lets be honest here, he just says it, doesn't follow it one iota.

Yeah id think there'd be a decent one in sydney. Like you say though its been big growth since promotion especially with Mile being the captain.

FC United have more then the bottom 6 on table and not far behind Sunderland.

Yeah, I thought you were similar size to FC United but I think the last time I checked that, you were still in the championship. Promotion and a cup run would win some fans. So I guess it was inevitable you'd break away.
