Here's one for ya,

Christian Maldini has just captained the A.C Milan under 19's side.

He's the son of Paolo Maldini - Five European Cups and seven league titles with A.C - 127 games for Italy
He's the grand son of Cesare Maldini - One European Cup and four league titles with A.C - coach of both AC and Italy

Talk about having a family name to uphold

How would you feel if you were just a bog average footballer and don't make it professionally? That's the kind of stuff that destroys people mentally.

Cruyff junior really struggled with the expectation his father's name brought.

Eventually became known just as "Jordy" instead of "Cruyff".

In general very few kids follow in the footsteps of their fathers in their footballing careers.

Interesting how it is the complete opposite in footy where the father son rule is commonly used.

He's turning 20 in June and captain of the U19s... while it is for this season, I do wonder what his prospects are for next season. You don't hear much about the younger Maldinis (Christian and Daniel). Defenders don't really fly until later on, but you would think he would've had some opportunities opened up even now with a weaker Milan team. I know he was on loan to Brescia, but he didn't really get much time there at all.

I guess we'll see how he's tracking on next season now that he will no longer be a U19.

I can't see Shelvey staying when they're relegated. He wants to play football and there are plenty of clubs in the PL who would take him. I doubt his contract is public knowledge, so revealing this info, credible or not, is just a way of getting clubs competing for him.
Apparently he's keen to stay.

Manchester United legend Alex Ferguson throws a banger after flops drop a clanger against Tottenham while watching the Masters

Former Red Devils boss was so angry with his team's performance that he threw his sausage sandwich down

SIR ALEX FERGUSON was so angry at Augusta when he saw Manchester United had crashed 3-0 at Tottenham that he threw his sausage sandwich down in disgust.

The former United boss was tucking into his bangers during a break while watching the final round of The Masters golf at the famous course in Georgia.

The Scot checked on his mobile phone in the VIP section to see the result of his old Red Devils’ match at Spurs.

A furious Fergie flung his half-eaten sandwich down on his plate when he discovered they had lost to three late goals.

An onlooker said: “He was looking on his phone when he suddenly threw his sausage down on to his plate in anger. He’d obviously seen the United result.”

Can a Spurs fan explain your logo to me? I know everyone says it's a chicken standing on a ball but I assume there's some kind of meaning behind it?
