They lead it on head-to-head apparently. That comes before GD in Spain. Bit lame if you ask me that is
Yeah good point. I dont know which one I prefer.

I mean if say two teams finished level on points. I dont think you can say team A is better than team B because they had bigger wins that team B.

What if team A is your Barcelona, all out attack, score a million goals type team and team B is your Chelsea, park the bus, win 1-0 type games. Team A is obviously gonna have better GD cos they smash other teams. But I dont think that means they are better than team B.

It should come down to head to head. Who is better between the two teams. Not how have their other results fared.

I think I actually like Spains head to head before GD.

Defending is easier than attacking. Football is more entertaining with attacking, so GD is good for that. If you happen to have bad injuries or a bad ref call at the time of playing your direct opponent then the head-to-head isn't a reflection of the overall quality.

GD is also a good indicator of where a team will probably end up. Spurs are +9 on LCFC and still might pip them for 1st. United are only 4 pts behind Arsenal but the GD is +22 vs +10.

front 3 have got them out of jail a lot of this season. defence and midfield have swung between fantastic and diabolical all season.

those are mental numbers, especially when you consider messi spent a block of time out at the start of the season and there have been suspensions, injuries etc.

In a one sided league like La Liga, H2H is a good thing because like you say, you have Barca and RM smashing the Vallecanos and Valladolids and Deportivo La Corunas and Eibars and stuff every 2nd week 6-0 and winning the league via flat track bullying is boring.

Kinda makes it every El Clasico, Madrid Derby and Barca/Atletico such a big game because of the potential consequences of the outcome.

Messi hates being rotated even during the Pep era, and can't really piss him off

When you have a front 3 like that, you do wanna play it all the time which is understandable

Vardy isn't as smart as George Best clearly.

George: "Ref, can you send me off for what I'm thinking ?".
Ref: " Why do you think that George ? You know I can't".
George: "In that case ref, I think you're a ****".

As I suspected. Could end up being 3 games, at which point they could have lost the title. Too late to cancel the movie? No one likes a movie with a sad ending.
It just sets up the Act 3 climax for the end. Both teams win next weekend, leaving 3 games each, 5 points to be made up and that story line from the start of the film... about the champions Chelsea improbably imploding... well, ol' mate Guus Hiddink steps up with that team to play Spurs after Man U scums out another 1-0 win v LCFC. Spurs win and it's 2 points. A gutsy win over Everton and then it's all about the last day with Vardy returning against the fallen Champions... The Rolls Royce of Kane has won the Golden Boot and Vardy's Nissan Skyline has one game in which to show what he has learnt... Will it be a 43rd minute red card, or an 88th minute winner...

Adrian Butchart, British writer of the Goal! series of football-related fiction films, met Vardy in February 2016 to document him for a biopic film on his career.[81]

So I'm interviewing Richard Garcia tonight.

Absolutely freaking out. Need to know what to ask him so that I don't sound like a sod, a repetitive sod, or a boring sod.
Well done mate!!! I assume you couldn't get a hold of Allsopp then?

Assume you're doing the interview via Skype? I'd be just asking him what it meant to play for Hull City and what he most enjoyed about his time at the club there I guess.

Yep 20 minutes for the interview, asking him about his time with City, his take on the current squad and promotion prospects, then asking him about A-League with Koren there this season and Soccerroos since he was the first City player to play at the World Cup.
