Based on this season alone he probably is. What manager in world football has done better this season?
Simeone, for one - though it is debatable. His work over the past several seasons has been nothing short of phenomenal. Competing with the two strongest clubs on the planet (they're only GD off top spot) and another UCL semi-final appearance.

Simeone is the best manager of the past 2-3 years.

Not what I asked though.

If he wins La Liga and/or the Champions League he'd certainly be up there.

You asked for this season - both are up there. But Simeone takes the tie-breaker for doing it against better opposition and over a sustained period of time.

Sustained period of time doesn't really come into it as I'm just looking at the August - May time slot.

What if Simeone doesn't win anything? I don't disagree with you per se, just playing a bit of devils advocate.

If Leicester see it through and Atletico fail to win either competition, then Ranieri would win any theoretical MOTY award - no question. He'd probably win it anyway, to be fair. Remarkable stuff from both managers lately.

You realise this means that this gif is going to appear half a dozen times per page on every single thread in the forum?

Can't say I'm a huge fan of this outcome if I'm being honest.
Yeah, fair enough I should know better. Sometimes you can't help but throw a bit of shit back.

But I guess should do the right thing. Next time she'll just cop a ban.

Well it was a very special occasion, but I should know better(but I don't think it's much of a troll, it's something Chelsea supporters will be bringing up and going on about for ages. Like some United supporters do/did with Terrys slip, something Chelsea supporters just cop on the chin).

You started all this crap by pretending Simeone snubbed Chelsea(something that didn't happen as we would have had to wait until the end of the season to even start a negotiations with him), typical troll that I should have just nipped in the bud. As i said I should know better and from now on I will.
