He'll start around July as will Lampard. Apparently it's fairly typical of the league. League runs through to December I think.
Right ok, so I can see a scenario where come December and the end of the season, Gerrard could have a few weeks off then potentially join us again on loan for the second half of next season.

Jesus, the bloke posts a stat about his teams manager which is actually very interesting. Who cares if you don't like the poster, pull your head in and don't be inflammatory for the sake of it. Sometimes the people who complain the most about this board are the ones making problems.

Apparently(according to a few tabloids anyway) Manchester City are soon going to announce a new £80million-a-year sponsorship deal with Etihad.
Right out of the Paris Qatar playbook.

Quite a few MLS players have joined European clubs on loan for January. Beckham, Henry, Donovan, Keane etc. Staying beyond that (as a few have tried) runs the risk of missing the start of the next MLS season.

£80m is more in line with deals other teams are getting. £40m was starting to look very undervalued.

Hope its true.
Is this per year?

The third longest serving manager in league football is Karl Robinson who has been in the job less than 5 years. There would be hundreds of non league managers that have been in the job longer than all but one or two league managers.

Fair enough (Y)

Yep, apparently. But its for more than just shirt sponsorship, includes training ground, training kit, stadium, academy etc
80m per year would be the going rate for shirt+stadium wouldn't it?
