It's completely rubbish, I wonder why the rest of the teams in La Liga put up with it? Surely something can be done about it.Yeah , Real and Barca get a set% regardless of where they finish in La Liga
i can't remember the background from the last negotiations but I think it is being evened up a little bit. The other teams don't have much of an option due to who the decision makers are IIRC.It's completely rubbish, I wonder why the rest of the teams in La Liga put up with it? I've got a feeling the Spanish Government passed a law forcing the rights to be sold collectively rather than individually like before. The new deal will be based on a similar model to the English one.

But what would Leicester do with 5 full squads? If the Premier League used the same ratio as La Liga to structure their broadcasting revenue payments (17.5% to Real, 17.5% to Barça, 65% divided amongst the rest), the top 2 clubs in the league would have earnt approx £285m from broadcasting revenue alone this year.

Whoever unitl Wegner is no longer at arsenalWho would England get if they got rid of Woy though?
I believe there is more than one manager in the world. It's a well-paid position, and a fun one if you can handle the media scrutiny.Who would England get if they got rid of Woy though?

I'm happy to do it if they're that desperate. A quick heads-up, though - I'll be taking a lot of training camps in warmer locales.
Not watching it![]()

As I've said, it's a good job. There would be a lot of managers who would give up club football for it. Maybe not your top tier, and maybe there would be some up-and-comers who might want to build up their experience first, but anyone in between would do it I would say. And they wouldn't have to be English. Woy's track record includes that UEFA Cup Fulham run and not much else. It's dull football and the English seem to have decided that will at least make them hard to beat... until they play someone world class, when they inevitably lose.No shit there are other managers in the world. Are there better managers in the world that would give up a club job to manage England though?

But like a lot of people I will hope that the magic dust of a Wilshere, Sterling or a Rashford might start to work for them. But it's only hope and that seems to be Woy's approach too. He doesn't do anything to encourage a winning game, other than picking players like that on the field and hoping they do it.
What a terrific argument you have made here. Now in order to prove a comment about Woy not being a great manager I have to type down names of managers to sate your request because otherwise apparently I do not have the capability to think of anyone. So you can't name any.
Not too sure there's many managers better than Roy floating around at the moment keen on the job unless you're looking at Redknapp.

Are you just looking to fill the thread with discussion? Because I don't have the time currently, having just fulfilled a pointless exercise in listing potential managers because you thought not specifically naming them was somehow a point to you.Do you seriously believe half those managers would want the job, and that the other half are better than Hodgson?
******* Dick Advocaat? Dalglish? Houllier?? Jackett??
What the **** have you been smoking?
Go do another Google search.
Why take out the foreigners?
Are you just looking to fill the thread with discussion. Because I don't have the time currently. I said Woy is no good and I don't understand why England is so content to have him around. You said I couldn't think of anyone to replace him. I then think of a bunch of people and have already stated that I think the England job is a well-paid fun job. Yes, I think people would want the role. Houllier actually won the UEFA Cup, unlike Woy. Plenty of those managers haven't had the opportunity to have a team filled with the talent Roy has had. Roy has proven he can't do it well.
You are demanding things of me while throwing what I think are meant to be insults around. I thought maybe you were bored? Much like I am with this faux outrage.Perish the thought that I discuss football matters in this thread! You have a pretty big gripe with threads filled with discussion around here Mr Google.
