Ronaldo I swear just rolls around the world partying with celebrities and posting it on Instagram just to remind everyone that he's super famous and awesome. Haha... McGregor, J-Lo, Eva Longoria just in the last week I think.

We always hear about how the AFL wants equalisation and there has been regular criticism of 'Soccer' being dominated by money and from not providing a chance of success to all clubs, but is the Premier League a more equal competition than the AFL now? There are probably more teams whose fans would expect to win the league or finish top 4 in the PL than there were in the AFL this season.

Not sure I agree with that at all. Look at how even the Top 8 are. Hawks are probably a slight cut above, but I'd back any other side on their day to knock them off.

Fair enough. There are probably 8 sides who would expect -or at last their fans would expect - to be in the mix for a top 4 finish this season in the PL as well and I'd say a majority of them are fairly even. City, United, Arsenal, Chelsea, Leicester, Spurs and Liverpool would probably all expect to be in the title/top 4 hunt, with West Ham and maybe even Southampton and Everton expecting to be around 4th to 6th mix as well. I think this season is shaping to be extremely even. At least as even as the AFL this season imo.

On last season and recent history I think that first 7 would all expect to be in the hunt to finish 1st. Even if you don't include Spurs and Liverpool (although Liverpool fans think every year is their year) that's still 5 team that should expect to win the title. It's not too dissimilar to the AFL as it stands.

But you have to finish above Arsenal to be in the hunt for 1st.

I think you're the one side capable of taking on and beating mens teams regularly. You originally weren't going in it were you? I wonder if there has been some concessions or changes made to appease the clubs that said no.

Apparently theres been a workaround in the fixture schedule so it wont clash.

And there's a good chance Hull will be less competitive than Essendon at this stage :(
