Are there still issues regarding expanding SB & the housing development? Is old mate Ken Bates not causing dramas anymore?

No, the issues have always been about the exits(for emergencies). With the decking over the train line that is being proposed this wont be a problem anymore.

The club is looking at alternate venues for when the rebuild is happening.

What ended up happening with the sub station? I remember reading something about it. I thought they were relocating because they couldn't expand SB?

It isn't a lie. Most our debts & losses incurred in recent times all relate back to Hicks & Gillett.

Well thats just not true now is it? Come on, you lost £100m in the last two years because you spent more than you earned in that financial year. Nothing to do with Hicks & Gillett.

No club anywhere would exist anywhere without businessmen. Very few have existed by spending unsustainable amounts though. FFP done properly would put more clubs on a level playing field but unfortunately as you say it appears to be used as a tool to maintain the status quo for elite clubs.

Lucky us that ours is a club that has spent big, and is in great financial shape. Happy days.

Nah, we bid but didn't get it.

Focus has now turned to upgrading what we have which is excellent. Its been a very long process.

So what's the expansion to SB? New capacity?

I was wondering if someone could enlighten me

The winner of the Europa League gets a champions league spot. If that were, for example to be Everton, would that put 5 teams from England into the champions league or would they take the fourth spot akin to Chelsea taking spurs spot as they were the cup holders a couple of years back

Hope that makes sense

4th would miss out.

And if say Arsenal won the CL as well and missed top 4, then 3rd would miss out too.
Even though that would never happen, it would be hilarious!

Just read today that the FA Cup runner up doesn't make the Europa League any more if the winner is already qualified for Europe. Spot goes to the league automatically.

If the rule was in place this year Man United would have made the Europa League instead of Hull.

We made 20m the year just been, lost 30m year before amd made 50m the year before.

We have a new shirt sponsorship coming next season (which is apparently going to be behind only United in value), we will have increased money from the EPL, apparently we are selling the naming rights for Cobham and Wimbledons old home ground once we purchase it to use for our youth and Ladies teams. Plus we will be making the usual sales on players for decent profit.

No where near shit creek buddy, give the obsession a rest. You and FAITH should just stick to worrying about your own teams.

And by the sound of things the SB expansion isn't to far away either with the architects who designed the birds nest and Allianz almost finished there final designs. Happy days.
Herzog and De Meuron, same architects who won the flinders st design comp too. One of my favourite practices im pretty jealous of you guys.

Not completely unreasonable.

Yep, I think that was known heading into the Final, so Hull supporters knew just how extra lucky that FA Cup run was.

Don't like it. FA cup loses further prestige.
