However after Tottenham sold Bale and spent 100m, Rodgers came out and said they should've been challenging for the league. How is that situation any different to this season with Liverpool?

There's absolutely no way any manager would challenge for the title under those circumstances no matter how desperate you are for it to be the case.

To be fair Rodgers did finish ahead of the special one who came "home" and was supposed to win titles. So not too bad and much better than the end of Hicks & Gillett days.

If Hazard was sold we would have spent the money wisely (like we did when we sold Mata, KDB, Luiz etc) and would be still there abouts. A very good player (like Costa, Luis, Matic, Fab etc) would have been bought. Unlike you guys we can pay the top salaries to get the top players.

If Costa was injured (like he has been a few times) Remy and Drogba would step up (like they have).

We would still be around where we are now.

Don't think you should comparing Rodgers and Mou.

First season under a new manager, squad not ready and let's be honest some really poor losses to opposition we would beat 8 times out of 10.

This season you're seeing us perform around the mark that we weren't close to last season. You know how we got there? Good business. Identified our targets in Matic, Fabregas and Costa, got in and got the job done with no fuss.
