Kezman was never that good and Crespo did alright didn't he?

And Sturridge was played on the wing, so there goes that theory.

Sturridge had a good 11/12 under AVB IIRC. Was only frozen out by Di Matteo.

Why has Torres' goals turned into another Liverpool vs Chelsea shitfight?

The Real loser here is Real Madrid.

Let's laugh at them.

I will start.

And yet we won a FA cup and UCL cup.

Despite those wins Di Matteo left the squad in a pretty poor condition. You're lucky Rafa was willing to come in and clean it up on a temporary basis. Nor many other high profile managers would do that apart from Hiddink who was unavailable IIRC at the time.

Crespo did well when he played. He ended up getting loans until his contract expired IIRC. Did Chelsea get a transfer fee for him chef?
We didn't get anything for him. He went on a two year loan to inter and they signed him for free when his contact expired.

Mutu was the biggest disaster :(

That wasn't Di Matteo's fault.

Ah, yes.

lol you mean' let's not let semantics debunk your theory and prove you wrong.

Nope. I'm not getting into another discussion with you trying to twist what I'm saying. Time to move on and keep it "on topic".

Mutu being on coke wasn't Chelsea's fault either.

He was a very good forward.

But how is Sturridge not playing turning a striker into a dud? Especially when he was played on the wing.

And this is entirely on topic.

Because a perfectly good striker is/was being wasted on the bench, or played on the wing
ineffectually. Sturridge was effectively a Chelsea reject when we bought him.

Lol. He was a caretaker manager who only held onto the job because of the cup wins.

Them some red tinted glasses that you wear.
