so according to the daily mail, the fa have launched an investigation that no one knows about into a transfer that apparently neither team had a problem with and the fa are apparently refusing to comment on, as are both clubs.

daily fail 101.

What deal?

Morocco banned for next 2 ANC tournaments & fined 6 million quid for pulling the pin on hosting due to ebola virus fears.

Equatorial Guinea fans throwing pieces of broken plates at Ghana fans and also on the pitch in the semi final that had to be stopped for a substantial period of time.

What an absolute farce this tournament has become. Change it to quadrennial and spend some money organising it correctly. The contrast in comparison to the Asian Cup couldn't be any greater.

For any cricket fans, apparently former England player Steve Harmison has been appointed manager of Ashington AFC (non league side).

No way! What Div are they?

Funnily enough, I was watching 'that ball' just last night. Poor old Stevey!

They seem to be all the way down in the 9th tier of football in the UK. I don't follow cricket but this bloke is a Toon fan so he's got my respect! :thumbsu:

Had a bit of a look due to curiosity to see how the hierarchy plays out. So in descending order:
Conference North -> Northern Premier League -> Northern Football League (2 tiers, the top tier of which Ashington AFC compete in).

According to a Toon forum, he actually played a bit of football as a youngster before committing to cricket. Interesting appointment to say the least!

If you needed further proof that Mike Ashley is a money hungry grub, here it is. You can now buy Rangers FC merchandise on the NUFC store...despite no official relationship between the clubs existing.

Of course I'm looking to buy Rangers merchandise whenever I visit the NUFC store! :drunk:

In EPL, the final schedule* for any given month is released "4-6 weeks in advance of the 1st of the month"

Do people know if it's generally the beginning of that period, or the end of it?

if 4 weeks prior it's still 3 weeks away, but if it's 6 weeks prior it's only a mere 1 week away till they're released.

*Except in the instance of cup games clashing.

How lazy are ESPN Staff?

http://www.espnfc.com/blog/transfer...-latest-tottenham-star-to-move-to-real-madrid

Story 1, Kane is having a good season so Real want him. We'd want lots of money, so they might wait a bit until...what? He gets better and we demand more money, or he gets worse and they don't want him?

Story 2, Man Utd are already planning on signing Hugo Lloris. Tottenham, yes Daniel Levy's club, are asking for £25m :drunk:. If United sold DDG and asked for Lloris, Levy would ask for the exact fee they received to the pound.

All pretty funny considering Mendes said De Gea is negotiating a new contract yesterday!

Bale lost 4-0 and is being demonised up and down Spain as a disaster.

Wouldn't be surprised at all to see him in the Prem next season...

Probably at Utd or City, but if we make CL and renegotiate what they still owe us...

Kane just won an NLD for his boyhood club and is the toast of the town.
