Bale lost 4-0 and is being demonised up and down Spain as a disaster.

Wouldn't be surprised at all to see him in the Prem next season...

Probably at Utd or City, but if we make CL and renegotiate what they still owe us...

Kane just won an NLD for his boyhood club and is the toast of the town.
Bale is an interesting one. I listen to the Football Weekly Guardian podcast and listening to Sid Lowe, one can infer that the anti-Bale movement is more of a media driven thing. We all know of the significant influence Real have over elements of the spanish media (Marca & AS) and it wouldn't surprise many if Perez wanted to sell him and is looking for a reason to justify it. Supposedly, the booing isn't that bad at all and when the media personalities in Spain cite moments where he is not passing and going for glory, he is fully entitled to shoot and not pass.

FWIW, Bale is doing and saying all the right things (he's constantly praising Ronaldo & Carlo) and he doesn't want to leave but Perez may be pushing him out. You'd think he would only go to a top4 club and not to Arse and only to a club that can afford him under FFP (without selling a lot of players). As you say, that that leaves United, City & Spurs assuming top 4. He does seem to enjoy living in Spain (or abroad generally). I think he'd really dominate in Italy. I wonder if Juve could put together a Pogba + Vidal/someone else package for him. typeclub , what's your view on Bale?

Arsenal could afford him under FFP but Wenger doesn't like spending big. Sanchez / Ozil will be the limit for him in terms of transfer fees.

Bale will cost at least what Real paid for him for any club to buy him.
Correct, i'm just not sure he'd be keen to go to Spurs main rival. Sol Campbell copped it.

His boyhood club? Are you sure?

You know who that is on the left, yeah?

Classic Arsenal letting star strikers go to their rivals.

He played for one of our youth teams when he was 8 i think, didn't make the cut though.

Only a year away from making his full debut... harsh.

This will take up a good 15 minutes.

That's weird, the video keeps stopping for me after the first 3:23...

****ing Gibbs the ****ing twat.

He says he still supports Spurs and loves watching the Goons lose from Spain. No chance he does a Campbell.

can't see kanaldinho leaving unless spurs completely fall apart, and with him leading the line, i dont see that happening

dont see spurs wanting much to do with madrid at all anymore either. modric and bale, that supposed 'relationship' has been incredibly one sided, just as everyone predicted.

regardless, the prem needs to start keeping these talents, not just letting madrid and co sweep in and pick them off, albeit at astronomical fees

Any reason for this except jealousy?

Didn't know you were so tight with G.bale that he confides his future plans in you.

Speaking in absolutes is a great way to get egg all over your face.

It makes absolutely no sense that Bale would end up at Arsenal.
