I like Ox more than Walcott. Walcott is pigeon holed to the wing, Ox can play through the guts too.

I'd be happy with Wilshire leaving also, bring in some revenue and fill in spaces that we need filled.

Sell while we can get something back.

Why would you want either of Wilshere or Walcott?

One is perma-crocked, angry and inconsistant and the other runs fast but has no other skills.

The Ox has moved past both this season and is 2 years younger.
i dont want either at all. its just what i can see happening

Sterling would be a much better option IMO. If Liverpool don't make Europe I think they'll struggle to keep him and City would be very enticing.

Mirror saying that Falcao has accepted his loan move won't be made permanent. Worth believing?
Well considering he played U21's recently, I'd say it's pretty obvious.

For that amount of money he needed a 25+ goal season.

@ 29 he isn't worth the £43.5 milliom punt that he'll be any better next season.

would be utter insanity spending the ~50 mil to sign him. he's shown absolutely nothing to even be better than that wilson bloke. clearly struggled with his knee and is nearly 30.

that said i hope they do it

Falcao is one of my favourite players and i was delighted when United signed him on loan. He's tried really hard to make it work but he's not playing well and United shouldn't sign him. I hope he recaptures his form next season as he is a joy to watch when in full flight.

Doubt we would sell to a rival in England. It would cost City ridiculous money too.

We will make top four and he will sign a new deal. Im not too worried.

Interesting that FIFA are putting Raheem's name next to City. No chance of him signing there, surely?

If its the interview I've read its just Pellegrini saying it's all well and good saying we should have more English players but it's hard because they are so overpriced.

Sterling and Shaw were used as examples.

Yep. Said he'd like Sterling but it would cost you 100mil.

Sterling will extend. It's all just pushing and shoving until we arrive with a figure.
He's screwing you lot to the wall.

You'll either overpay in wages or he'll leave after you've developed him. Either way, not the response you'd have wanted from him.

If he hasnt extended by the summer he will be sold IMO and to an English side.

Sterling's agent has already said that he wants to stay. It is a matter of agreeing wages and if need be we'll just have to pay what he wants. Same situation with Hendo. Both players are going nowhere.

Also Sterling's contract runs until 2017 so there's no urgent need for a new deal. Hendo is more important. We'll have to sell him in summer and City will be all over him as un upgrade over Milner.

Only costing him money in the short term with his current wage being 35k a week. The very same scenario played out with his last contract. Sterling wanted 50k a week. We offered 20k a week. Ended up agreeing 35k a week. At the moment he is demanding 150k a week and we are offering 100k a week. Suspect he'll sign a new deal around 120 - 130k a week.

It's frustrating but he is in our top two or three most important players and should be getting paid accordingly. It's only so taboo because he is only 20. If he was 25, the wages he is asking would be normal.

It's just so much to give someone so young. He will extend though. So will Hendo, he is our future captain after all. I think Ibe will get a new deal soon too.
