I wouldn't put all the blame on the communications department. Consider who's at the helm and setting the tone for the rest of the club at the moment, it's little wonder that this kind of nonsense is filtering its way through the organisation when you listen to the drivel that comes out of Jose's mouth.

Eh I don't agree. When he did play he played poorly.
He play the first two games(against Hull where he was arguable MOTM and United) then was shafted to the back of the queue only seeing the pitch for a few more cup games. I don't think his playing performance he had anything to do with him not playing.

Surprised that article made it onto their site - thought of this image after reading that.

Wow alright. Seems Jose is now in control of the communications team too.

You're 6 points clear and have a game in hand. Struggling to understand why Jose would dish up that garbage. It can only have a negative effect on the club IMO.

I'd be very happy with KDB, just one of those that didnt fit in with Jose, so never got a chance.

Wouldnt come cheap, and might be happy where he is.

If you can get him he'd be ideal but like you say he's just moved and seems pretty happy at Wolfsburg, if I had to guess I'd say that Wilshere is probably your next option and might be a more realistic one. If I were City this is what I'd do in the summer to rejuvenate the side and freshen things up a bit:

Out: Yaya, Nasri, Jovetic, Dzeko
In: Pogba, Wilshere, Dybala, maybe another fast winger

-----Fernandinho----
---Pogba-Wilshere---
--------Silva--------
--Dybala----Aguero--

I know several sides are likely to be interested in Pogba and he'll be a tricky one to land, but I honestly think he's a better fit for City than for the other chasing clubs, you have a vital need for a player with his skill set, and most importantly you have the resources to trump just about any offer anyone is realistically going to be making for him. I'm expecting a gargantuan bid to come from City for him in the off season.

Dybala is a no brainer if you're looking to replace Jovetic & Dzeko. Aguero Mk II.

Dybala will go to highest bidder IMO.

Definitely. Palermo will be licking their lips at the prospect of an auction for their star man this summer. Would not be surprised to see him go for 30-40m which would be a massive injection for them. 21 years old, 3rd in Serie A for goals (3 behind Tevez/Icardi), 2nd for assists.

The other interesting striker is Vietto at Villareal (also 21, also Argentinian, 20 goals and 8 assists in 40 games this season). Supposedly we've shown a lot of interest in him.

would be amazing if we could finally find a de jong replacement all these years after rejecting a pay rise. garcia could've done it if we hadnt have sold him right as he started to get up to pace. i hope fernando gets another season to prove himself. the tactics just don't do him any justice.

dont want dybala. i want us to steer clear of serie a for a while. no doubt he's talented but just not a league we seem to get much luck with.

On recent form Wilshere wouldn't be starting for Arsenal let alone City. He has 2-3 good games in a row then weeks of being average and injured. There is talent there but I have my doubt that's its ever going to be fulfilled.

Honestly, for the amount of coin they'd need to stump up to get him they'd be better off looking for more consistent player.

Fair to say Bony will be a flop?

We talked about this a bit on the podcast. He's basically joined at the worst time. Right when the heat is on City and every player is expected to step up. It's the worst time to try and settle into a new team.

Fair to say Bony will be a flop?

I would have thought it's very unfair to say that at this stage.

Hasn't started a game yet, hopefully that will happen on Saturday.

You brought him in January for a reason.

To win a trophy this season.

We bought him in January because we'd just played a month with David Silva, James Milner and Jose Pozo (attacking midfielder) playing up front for us because we had no-one else available. 3 forwards, when two have fairly consistent injury records is not enough, and the club said that they made a mistake by letting Negredo go without getting a replacement in.
