That's the point though. Hazard's season is being talked up as something really special but relatively, it's not as amazing as it's being made out to be.

I actually don't personally have him as Chelsea's best player this season.

I would definitely have him as our best and it's mostly because it's not something you can just tell from stats.

For me, Terry or Matic are your best. In a lot of the close games you ended up getting points, those two were a much bigger reason why.

It's all personal opinion of course.

Fair enough. I don't think Matic quite makes the conversation, for me it's Hazard and Terry right at the top with not a great deal separating them. But all our offensive movement pretty much goes through Hazard.

Pretty much exactly as last season, the only difference between this season and last is we have filled our holes with Fab, Costa and Matic. If we had them last season too we probably would have won the league then as well.

Yep, i would have said last season was his breakout season(EPL wise). This season he's just continued it on.

I think it has too TBH, his stats are almost exactly the same as last year. Some on here carry on like he's our only avenue to goal too, but to me Matic, Terry, Costa and Fab have all been as important to our team as Hazard. Plus if Kun had stayed fit he would have won POTY.

But that's not to say Eden had another fantastic season for us.

Yeah I thought his output was fairly similar it's just this season he didnt have a bloke like Suarez tearing the league to shreds. The year before that it was Bale and Suarez. He has had a very good season and deserved POTY but it wasnt some momentous season or anything.
