Petr Cech has revealed he could have joined Arsenal in 2002 were it not for complications with his work permit, but Arsene Wenger's new goalkeeper adds: 'I didn't really miss much.'

:D

Nothing much except being part if the greatest team in the EPL era.... the Invincibles.

I don't think he said that.

There was a video on the Arsenal site, pretty sure that was never said.

Its generally what you do at "concept" stage, if you provide images that are realistic and lifelike then people expect exactly that when its finished. Better to give them a vague image of what it will be like, gives you more leeway with the finished product.
Really? I mean you could make the pictures clear so you can see it and still say of course these arent final, these are concept drawings.

Just strange to make them look like they are from the 20's or something??

That's the entire point.. they're making the point that these drawings are of a stadium that wouldn't look out of place in Chelsea's past, as that's where it draws inspiration from.

Ok fair enough.

Dont rate the idea though. Give me something clear that I can see.

I guess they are also trying to build some intrigue as well by not presenting the complete design, and being a historical concept the black & white slightly dodgy images suit it I think.

Also if you do a presentation like this you don't have to model the whole thing, only the specific views you are planning to use, massive time saver.

Cheeky little dig at Arsenal in there :D, very different circumstances to this proposal.

It's a Chelsea fansite, so you wouldn't expect any less:p

Not sure it's a dig though, you guys had completely different circumstances as you had to buyout land in the surriunding area.
