Oh FFS, give it a rest. You say the same thing at least four times a day.

Give it a ******* break. We're sick of it, and we're sick of you.
Just give her a cracker will ya, it's got to be tiring being a parrot.

FFS I've only been reading threads and I've seen that half a dozen times at least since the start of Matchday 1

No idea if this is the right place for this but how difficult is it to acquire PL tickets?

I'm looking at the weekend of 3rd/4th October.

Palace vs West Brom
Chelsea vs Southampton
Arsenal vs Man Utd

The first one looks pretty straightforward. The latter two I just don't know. Is it completely impossible to get tickets to these games? Is it possible but prohibitively expensive to most people (100GBP+ minimum)? Is it 500GBP+ territory to get a look in?

Remember that tickets are only sold to Arsenal members for A Class games. You'll need to buy one off a member (and use their membership to enter the ground) and they'll be charging a premium for it. There will be no tickets available to the general public.

Arsenal v Man United is an A Class category game so you'll be looking at a minimum of £200+ ($400+ AUD) for sitting short side upper ( behind either of the goals at the top back of the stand.) at the Emirates.

Anywhere from $500-$1800 AUD to sit long side upper/lower (the sides of the pitch) at the Emirates.

To sit in the away section you'd be looking at $1000+

IMO you'd be better off picking a different game.

Getting tickets to Chelsea vs Southampton shouldn't be a problem, will cost you a pretty penny though. Try and see a Bournemouth home game if you can, atmosphere should be amazeballs.

It's been revealed that Jake Livermore was battling depression following the death of his child 11 months prior to testing positive for cocaine. There had been an inquest into the child's death, with the results revealed to him shortly prior to the incident, and this is speculated to have been the reason for the substance abuse. The FA is considering being lenient on him in light of the revelations.

I just wish there had been some sort of public statement along these lines - as vague as necessary - 3 months ago to save the damage that his reputation took over those 3 months.

Really should have kept the whole thing quiet under the circumstances.

That makes it sound like the baby died in unusual circumstances?

That sucks heaps. Terrible to hear.

Don't think there are any usual circumstances a baby can die in mate.

Including that he tested positive? Yeah absolutely. From the sounds of things it leaked to the press somehow. The club was already aware before it was leaked and were intending to keep it private.

Thanks for the info.

I've been in contact with an Arsenal member via a friend. He says tickets available from 65-95 GBP a month out from the game, first in first served for members. If he can get me one I'll take it, otherwise I'll probably give it a miss. If it comes to paying $500+ and having to scalp a ticket then it's not really worth it.

Oh no of course not. I more meant, was it a natural (illness related etc) death or did something happen out of the ordinary that's caused the death? Unless all babies deaths are investigated?

This is a terrible subject :(

Not too sure to be honest. In a way I'm a bit surprised more isn't known. EPL would be a much more media intensive environment, and yet a lot more was known about McVeigh's daughter's death - for instance - and a player in one of the lower leagues, forget his name now, whose son died and he scored on his return and both sets of fans applauded him.

GMP's Chief Constable said that 'cheap digs' between Reds and Blue supporters are 'part of life in Manchester' after tweet about a theft at the National Football Museum got out of hand

Greater Manchester Police's Chief Constable has apparently defended an officer who taunted Manchester United fans on Twitter.

Sir Peter Fahy said that ‘cheap digs’ between Blues and Reds fans are just ‘part of life in Manchester’.

A row began on social media following an incident at the National Football Museum.

An officer with GMP City Centre tweeted: “Theft at Football Museum yesterday, thief steals a red scarf and football top, suspect has then possibly fled back down south??”
