Exactly. For instance, he was my AR for the previous game, and when he called fouls I listened because A) He was neutral, B) He knew the laws of the game. This old bloke was just one of the Dads I think and wasn't even running the line properly. Doubt the foul - if there was one - was even in the box.

The only thing they should be doing at that level is calling for offside and whether it's out (which isn't always fair).

I think it was just because we had a couple that were late that I was pushed out there. Physically I'm as far from a wide midfielder as you could imagine; quite stocky with almost glacial levels of pace. But the LB behind me is absolutely lightning so I pretty much drifted infield and played him through down the wing when I could and then dropped back to cover his runs. Because it was blowing a gale where I was today the ball was almost exclusively on our side of the pitch as well.
