Going back on this, wasn't we saying the other day that opinions are subjective, and therefore it's not ok to judge people on them? If you believe political persuasions are formed on opinions or principles, then why do you feel it's ok to judge people by them? Isn't this being somewhat hypocritical of you after lecturing me in the off topic thread?
Huh?

Football fans have a moral obligation to make sure that those who run their clubs are doing the right thing. I wouldn't be too comfortable with the fact that Sheikh Mansour has made billions of the back of slave labour and nothing is being done to address the issue. If you're happy to accept money from the Sheikh you've surely got to question how it was generated.
Sheikh Mansour owned Barclays for a while and I can't remember too much outrage or calls from supporters for their clubs to return money they got from that sponsorship.

What did you do about it?

Sheikh Mansour did not own Barclays at any stage so your comparison is ridiculous. He was nothing more than a minority shareholder looking to make a quick buck over the GFC.

Interesting. Yet I got pilloried for making a similar point Re: Chelsea and Roman's ill gotten billions.

For those who can't read - Kevin Großkreutz is attending the Schalke relegation party

FIFA have disbanded there anti racism committee. Obviously no racism in the sport anymore.

In other news, there were rumors that the PTA has also been disbanded.

Thankfully though these did not prove to be true, and the PTA has not actually been disbanded.

It's typical though of us, new man gets a job, let's try and bring him down asap. Money trumps everything now - even if it means hurting national interests (let's get this right whoever would be in charge of the national team they would set up a sting on). I saw the same thing happen during our bid for the 2018 World Cup. Basically the whole thing was sabotaged by the media - just so they could make a few extra bucks
