Yeah, nah.

Uh, yeah.

Bale scored 31 goals in 12/13.

On 28 April 2013, Bale won both the PFA Players' Player of the Year and Young Player of the Year after his excellent showing in the 2012–13 season.[95] A week later, on 2 May 2013, he added the FWA (Football Writer's Association) Player of the Year Award, making Bale one of only two players who have won all three in the same season, the other being Cristiano Ronaldo, who won them in 2007

For me, having watched him both season, he was clearly the best player in the league for both seasons.
13/14 is a lot more clearer to me. He just put us on his back and went to another level.

Wouldn't expect you to say any different :D

What season did Suarez go all McBitey and racist - because there are arguments for not awarding him the prize for that. Even so, Bale was clearly PotY in 2012/13

Bale carried a side as good as this current Everton team with a much more incompetent manager than Koeman within a whisker of finishing top 4.

Also did it while not being a campaigner which helped his cause

Suarez first bite victim was Otman Bakkal, in 2010, playing for Ajax. His first major scandal was a few months before that and the handball against Ghana at the World Cup. Yep, this guy has a long history of being a complete and utter scumbag.

Being a peer award Suarez was never going to receive as many votes as he should after going all racist

It truly saddens me that Suarez never tried to bite or racially abuse Vidic. That wouldn't have ended well for Suarez.

Yeah nothing against Suarez but the amount of points Bale won late on was crazy that season.

Honestly, it got to the point where you could already see it going in as soon as he got the ball.

bale was also doing it from out wide, even though he did play up top for a few games. dragged them through quite a few games.

Bale very much had a free role in the final third that season, as did Suarez. He definitely wasn't out there hugging the touch line every week.

Suarez scored more goals, had more assists, created more chances, and completed almost twice as many dribbles. Bale scored some spectacular goals from distance, which might be why there's more nostalgia around his year than there is around Suarez's, but for me there are just as many reasons for Suarez to have won that award as there were for Bale, perhaps more depending on who you ask. They both had their own unique ways of scoring goals and dominating games of football.

Do you know how many points each won off their own boot?

I have Bale ahead purely because his goals ultimately decided matches. Putting a hat trick past Norwich is great but not all those goals meant as much.

sum it up for me

did he take nandrolone without knowing similar to the Essendon* players taking thymosin?
failed two tests. banned and fined. Appealed multiple times, changing his story along the way. Appeals were laughable and got rejected. He took many of the people involved to Uefalona and Drugchester City, hence both clubs having multiple issues with 'whereabouts' for testing, issues they didnt have previously.

He's basically a shit Lance Armstrong whose doctor has been pumping drugs through his players for years.
