I have a feeling we'll more look to La Liga. We've gotten some decent players from Spain and have some present and ex players who'll sell the club to any Spanish speaking player.

As a city though, it's got the location and nightlife to sell to a player.

Well at least if Stewart does go for 10m, I will be somewhat relieved Mason is a 3m better player than him.

Yeah it seems a bit strange because I agree it was reported all over the place. I can't believe we spunked 13m on him but it seems we did. Only thing I can think is that the 13m includes clauses that he's somehow triggered. But hey, who knows, maybe given his injury and underwhelming first season we only end up paying 8m. Would be a bit weird though to keep calling him our record signing. Surely club would be happy to let fans know we only had to pay 8m for him.

Agree definitely, but there is a Stewart to Brighton rumour going around.

We run a very tight ship when it comes to things being leaked. 98% of our signings come out of left field never having previously been mentioned in any media reports. So a large grain of salt to be taken with the Stewart rumour.
