Liverpool should've sold Luis Suarez when he scored 11 league goals in 31 league matches his first season. Crazy that they didn't. He was bought to score plenty of goals and was a massive failure instead.

He cost 22 million pounds and started on 50k / week. Plus 11 goals is still a decent return and he got plenty of assists too.

3 assists in the league his first full season in England and then he had an explosion of goals the following seasons. Paying so much money as Pogba cost doesn't guarantee immediate success and it also doesn't mean he he won't improve massively either.

I'll say one thing. I'd rather Pogba playing for United than Chelsea or City, that's for sure.

Unfortunately, football is a "what have you done for me lately?" industry. Hazard got the same treatment last season when he was performing as poorly as his teammates. Now he's back to being one of the best footballers in England.

Pogba this season and Hazard last season deserved every bit of criticism they got. It's unacceptable to play at such a low standard with the reputation they have while playing at big clubs.

Hazard at least bounced back and was credited by the public for doing so. We'll see what happens with Pogba next season.
