Does anyone here listen to any football podcasts? If so, which ones?

I listen to a few but I wouldn't mind adding some more.

I listen to a few Toon ones.

On a similar topic - was thinking last night of starting a thread on football personalities on youtube that people enjoy. Might be worth doing to see who people recommend/suggest.

The Guardian's Football Weekly is very good and seems to cover all the main (and some not so main) talking points. Plus, James Richardson is a gun.

For Liverpool, The Anfield Wrap, but I doubt you'd be interested in that!

Thanks mate, I'll give that Guardian one a listen.

The Blizzard live shows are pretty good. Last one covered what happened with Ranieri.
Is that the image?

UEFA :drunk::drunk::drunk:

Leipzig and Salzburg both allowed into UCL. Joke.
I've not really followed this but why shouldn't they be allowed? Is it the same owners thing?

Yes. If they played each other the integrity of the game would be compromised.

If they're allowed to both compete why can't two clubs in the PL have the same owners?

Not sure if this the right thread but what do people predict the playing style to be next season? At the end of this season a lot of teams adopted 3 at the back. Although this is Conte's forte, he's a step ahead kind of manager and I hope he adopts a 4-1-4-1.

The premier league is renowned for fast paced counter attacking football. If everyone plays 3 at the back it will simply come down to who has the better players man for man. With arguably the best managers in the world it will be interesting to see how formation/style evolves this season.

Sunderland are apparently getting a deal done at the end of the week to see new owners coming in from a Deutschland based consortium and that we'll apparently be buying a few more players from there if the deal goes through. **** me if we sign Jans Keller though.

Do you look likely of appointing a manager before the season starts?

Given Rafa is a pretty defensive minded manager, I expect us to continue playing a 4-2-3-1. Even at home in the championship last season against weaker sides, he still preferred it instead of playing 2 up top.
