Ah rite, it'd still be considered as the best award though yeah?

If only journos will vote on it again then that will be a good thing imo to get out of the Messi/CR7 circlejerk
Yeah the Ballon D'or will now be voted by journos that are invited by france football while the FIFA best player in the world will be one massive ciricle jerk (it even has fan votes ffs)

Thank **** for that

Will be interesting to see how judges vote now going into the future where maybe defenders or goalkeepers can win it again

Three pundits that I've seen outraged by Pep's "not a coach for tackles" are Collymore, Savage and Redknapp.

Others, that have won stuff pretty much said "so what" when asked about it.

Nice melt from the woman beater anyway.

he didnt even pretend to not know who collymore is, the question asked apparently translates to

stan collymore says he'll go to spain with his tail between his legs if you dont change. which makes no sense. but what a beautiful melt came from it.

collymore and savage's (to name 2) opinion on management means **** all. and realistically, managing barca or madrid is much more intense than the premier league. hell, the stress took their toll massively on pep and jose.

people who have won it all most certainly have the right to put done nothing journos in their place. the funny thing is it didnt even happen
I'm going to carry on presuming he just doesnt know who he is. Funnier that way.

This year was voted on by journalists I think.
I've got no issues with CR7 winning this year, he won the 2 biggest team events of the year plus playing to his usual high standard

However, hopefully guys like Suarez, Bale and a few standouts from the PL/Bundesliga are a chance at winning the gong in the next few years

The only way CR7 will stop winning the worlds best player is when he declines, as he has been winning them since 2008 for Man United / Real Madrid. He's 31 now and has been declining but is clearly still a cut above anyone else, dwarfing first runner up Messi with double the votes.

Is Typeclub one of these people who doesn't follow a club but rather a player? I only ever see him post about Ronnie. He reminds me of those Japanese fans who used to follow United - who all of a sudden became Real Madrid fans when Beckham left United to join them.

With Gundogan injured and the City scouts apparently really impressed with Mooy in the Championship is there any chance he could be recalled as a squad option in January?

I imagine that they'd be more likely to go out and buy someone like Dahoud instead, but apparently they're at every Huddersfield game and surprised that he's adjusted so well to English football.

He definitely needs to be playing PL football IMO. Don't see why City can't recall him to cover Gundogan short term (assuming they have a recall option in January).

recall clauses are very rare in english football. i would expect the 2nd option (dahoud) or the promoting of aleix garcia or phil foden.
