i would highly doubt it would happen regardless. why take him out of regular football where he's shining to be 4th/5th in line, back even further when gundogan comes back? might as well just put some games into the guys who have consistently performed in the academy.

Has Ozil really had a season worthy of the wages that he'd likely command. Seems to me he's had a so-so season?
How many assists in 2016, he started last season looking like he'd thrash assist records then Giroud et al stopped being able to convert his balls, so he would have many this calendar year?
It seems to me Arsenal are attacking wide more often these days using their quick guys to their advantage, hence why Bellerin is getting a shitload of assists instead

Not to mention that pathetic attempt to defend the corner against Everton.

You would hope that your most creative player and highest earner(?) would have more assists than right-back Kyle Walker though.

He has swapped assists for goals, scored some crucial ones too.

Ozil is not a goal scoring midfielder though.

Floats in and out of games.

End of the day he is an elite player.
A bit of a cop out. A no10 should be able to score goals. Both are identical for G+A this season yet to get the feeling you're actually happy with his season whereas we're not.

In the league he hasn't set the world on fire, has 4 goals and 3 assists in the UCL though which is probably where he has been at his best. Eriksen 0 goals 1 assist in the UCL.

you do get why we went out right. We had like 10 shit players each game. Only Lloris looked like he cared. :(

Eriksen's stats against quality teams is also pretty ordinary.
So were our team performances between 2013-15. Regularly thrashed. That changed last season where he also improved. 1 goal 5 assists against those quality teams.
