Really doubt it. His tactics are extraordinarily bad, our squad really isn't as poor as some think, Bruce would have kept us up with this personnel. Pardew would, monk would, rowett would. Giggs would be a shit appointment.

It's not the worst at all. Burnley Sunderland and Swansea all have comparable squads. This squad is better than the one Bruce kept up.

you started the season with 12 players and sold your best player to Newcastle. Burnley are better across the park and Sunderland have Defoe who bangs goals. Swansea are comparable I guess but they have more good players than hull.

No we started with 18 players but a number were injured. They are no longer injured. We then added a "better" keeper, a "better" striker, two attacking mids, and man for man have a squad miles better than the one Bruce kept up. If the signings are shit then that's on phelan.

Apparently West Ham bid 6m for Defoe. Lol.
