kangaspurs should have made your point about top flight games. They were his first 100 top flight games which is pretty impressive especially when you remember his first dozen were at the back end of the Sherwood/AVB season when he was off the bench.

Apparently 58/86 in the league when starting. Fairly decent player that's landed in our lap.

Im pretty happy with Courtois. Only 24 and still going to get better. Wouldn't swap him with any other keeper.

Not top 2? Who else is better? I've followed Lloris his whole career from the Lyon days. Definitely a top class keeper but not better than Coutrois IMO.

your manager has also had about 6 months longer with his team.

Yeah, I know. Haha I completely stuffed that up, then it looked rightly like I was moving the goalposts everywhere. Oh well.

His first 16 PL appearances netted 3 goals off the bench for us and Norwich. 56 in 84 under Poch. That sort of record means when he goes 2 games without a goal now people ask questions

De Gea isn't the sort of bloke to talk himself up though. Some players are like that - Zinedine Zidane didn't rate himself too highly despite being a top 5 GOAT player.

Bit rough calling Courtois inconsistent after suffering an injury-plagued setback. He's been brilliant this season and is in that top three bracket IMO. It's all subjective as to who you prefer out of the three, but to dismiss him like Gero just did is a bit silly.
