blah blah blah seluk.

Is getting into a public pissing match with Pep really in the best interests of his client? Yaya should get rid of him although Seluk probably wants a piece of whatever ridiculously overpriced contract Yaya signs next season in the middle east or china.

Why do believe agents are not doing what the player wants?

of course it isnt. but pep knows seluk wont apologise so this has given him a public reason to not play someone he has no intention of playing anyways

City can afford to let Yaya collect his paycheck. They look fine without him.

Better off without him & his agent kicking up a stink in public though. And paying someone 240k a week to sit on his arse wouldn't sit well with anyone no matter how much much money they may have.

his agent can say whatever the hell he wants. it doesnt affect the club in the slightest. yaya has to choose between his career and his agent, and he'll choose his agent.

he'll make a shitload of money not playing but it's better honestly than him making a shitload of money while taking the piss on the field. a shame for him to go out this way but this is what he has chosen.

If they've banished him it's no real difference to sacking him now and paying him out. The pay out will be whatever his entitled to earn for the rest of the contract so whether he gets it in one payment now or every week it's no big deal. He isn't infecting the squad who obviously rate Pep's opinion more and the fans are all on the same wavelength

You guys paid Ade out to rid yourself of him. Good move IMO.

It's a bottomless pit, it doesn't matter.

Pep has no intention of playing him, Yaya and his agent have already sooked, his career is done.

Really was no difference. Think we did it because he had a lead on another deal which fell through and we negotiated his payout to be slightly less than paying him every week

Yaya/Seluk I don't think is too much of an issue. The press are very much of Pep's side of this, and are treating Seluk as a joke. Yaya has had plenty of opportunity to distance himself from Seluk's comments in the past, so I don't imagine he'll do so this time although one of the papers was reporting that he is "fuming" with him for the drama.

Apparently we're willing to let him go to a rival in January. Wonder if anyone would be interested. Suspect the wage would be too much and he'll be getting a loyalty bonus at the end of his contract. So suspect he'll train with us, Seluk will shoot his mouth off every now and then as he has been doing for months now.

And we'll all get on with our lives.

Positive thinking (hoping) is a wonderful thing.

It is. Apparently we've built in performance add ons for Balo so if he has a great season we benefit too. And we get 1/3 of any subsequent transfer fee should he be a success and Nice sell him for a decent amount.

It certainly beats having him hanging around the club and his agent stirring up shit. Not to mention 80k a week in wages down the drain.

Balotelli scored his 3rd and 4th goal for Nice in his second league game overnight. :sunglasses:
They took him off 6mins before they won a pen too. He would have had a hatty.

I love Balo. He just was never the right fit for us. I hope he scores tons of goals for Nice.
