Bob Bradley has been sacked by Swansea and Americans everywhere are coming out and saying he was screwed by the UK media. Lol.
Well, he was.
Yeah not really what I was referring to. The media and English fans in general are giddy over his sacking and have mocked him since he was appointed. No, he wasn't. For a start, Swansea were starting to play a lot better under Guidolin so sacking him for Bradley who was coaching in the French 2nd division was a shit decision. Secondly, when he was appointed, none of the Swansea Supporters Trust (you know, the fans who own part of the club....) were informed that Bradley would be hired over Ryan Giggs, who the fans actually wanted, making that another shit decision that had the fans well against him. Thirdly, Bradley was only hired because he was American, not because of his coaching credentials, so chalk that up as another shit decision.
The media weren't great to him. But hardly their fault. Can't exactly be nice to a terrible manager

I'm not saying any of your reasons were wrong, I'm saying they were against him in addition to the rest.
Yeah except when the media mocked his americanisms, which was often. Most media people were alright about Braddles. The fans were hoping he'd fail though (Swansea fans had their reasons though).
I think him getting appointed over Giggs was the main reason people in the media had it in for him and not because he was American.
Who cares how the media treated him. He was shite and deserved to get boned!
Yeah except when the media mocked his americanisms, which was often.
Being pissed off he was appointed over a severely less experienced local doesn't really help the argument either.
Yeah Mike Phelan is doing an incredible job with that experience, hey?I was watching on with interest because the experience Bob Bradley got would be the same treatment an Australian manager (probably Ange) would get if we ever had one in the Premier League.
The media didn't mock him for road trips and PK's, it was the fans. Then the Yank media started writing about how insular England is and the Poms responded.
Giggs isn't really inexperienced and it's something that annoys me when people say it. Playing for the second greatest manager of all time for 23 years, then learning off of Louis Van Gaal for 2 years, is bound to give you an idea of how management works.
