2) How is the level of Celtic's competition in Scotland comparable with how they'd do in England? I remember them playing against some English team in the UCL this season and doing alright.

I think Celtic would eventually be up there around 4-7th spot. But would find it much harder than they might think. They'd have to find a good 15/16 new players to compete at the top.

If Celtic can build like Spurs then I can't see why they couldn't challenge for the title eventually if they ever got in. You're right about the squad revamp though.

in the championship yeah. if he couldn't get into a top 4 side in england why would he be good enough to guide celtic to a top 4/6 finish.
because they look good week in week out against teams that are the absolute pits, then it gets talked up how good they would be in a different competition. season after season. celtic have also beaten barca in the past but i dont think they would finish top 4 in la liga either.
