Except he wasn't and you're kind of proving his point by immediately directing the argument back to instances where United have benefitted from controversial decisions. Who is saying that we haven't had decisions go our way? He never said that we haven't had calls go our way, he's just saying that those calls are given far more attention than the ones that don't.

The very notion of posting an article to point out decisions going in your favour is to suggest that you have 'copped' it from the refs. If it was merely to point out that you have got some and copped some, then I'd like to see the side-by-side numbers as I still suspect you have benefitted more than you have suffered

That isn't the point he's trying to make at all. Over the course of a season every club is going to benefit from controversial decisions at times and suffer from them at others but pointing this out is not suggesting that it all evens out. Ask any fan if they think the decisions that go their way cancel out the ones that cost them and the answer will be the same.

Well no, again this is a lazy cop out. To say "Ah well you win some you lose some" is dismissive of the terrible standard of reffing in the PL, particularly towards lower clubs where refs think they can get away with poor decisions. We've had one poor decision (Snodgrass dive against Palace) go in our favour all season, and well over a dozen of stonewallers go against us. Just this week we've had a red rescinded which could have cost us our PL status.

decisions never cancel out due to the different situations and scenarios that they occur.

while a wrong decision sucks, it's a lot easier to cop so to speak when it's 3-0 or something, as opposed to 2-2 and right at the end.

You've completely missed the point again mate. No one is saying these things.

I was just pointing out that Cooksen was saying that when a big team benefits from a controversial decision this gets way more attention than the times where they have costly decisions go against them. It is easier to criticise a rival for gaining an unfair advantage than it is to acknowledge when they've been hard done by.

Cooksen has gone full Plugger35
Saying that United have had decisions against is not full plugger when i have backed it up with examples

Saying that United get assistance due to some conspiracy is full plugger.

Was a brilliant day. Had a family holiday booked but had a really tight deadline. So packed the family off and I set up the family room as an office for the weekend.

Desk, settee, post it notes all around the walls. Couldn't really afford the time to watch the game but had it on in the background.

Even after the slip I was pretty sure Liverpool would get back into it. Even a draw would have put them in the box seat for the title.

When the second I thought "**** work", and went and got some beers and watched our game against Palace.

Happy days.

And in the opinion of those that aren't Utd fans this move is horseshit. So don't try and bat it away under the guise it's already been debated. Facts are your recent European performances, league performances do not warrant an improvement in co-efficient, laughably corrupt change by UEFA.
I don't agree with the move but your club certainly does

not sure if it has gone through but it's laughable that someone can sit on a club board, the fa board and the uefa board at the same time.

also amusing that these clubs are so scared of being irrelevant in european competitions that they are panicking to push this through. and some wonder why others dont particularly like the champions league.
take it up with the 20 clubs including your that voted for Gill to be on the board of the FA.

While we are on the subject of "already been debated" you're always eager to post something relating to city's human rights record or Pep and drugs... what's wrong, don't like debates that go the other way?
new articles on topics detailiing new information are irrelevant now?

Eh? I seem to remember at the time dismantling that rubbish list without the use of pictures. I can think of a fair few pretty bad decisions in your favour recently. Care to comment on the Rojo handball against Chelsea? Rojo's studs up challenges that went unpunished in numerous games? Mata's offside goal against us in the League Cup Semi? Mykhi's offside scorpion goal? Etc. Etc. Etc.
um....those were all commented on at the time....

Is there any United supporters that disagree with the new seeding system?
Don't think most of us care tbh. We are only 50/50 to even make the cp next year. Seems to have oppo fans triggered so I'm all for it on that basis alone.

Coefficients are only for the group stages right?

Well I would have no club coefficients because i think they are a load of crap made by people like David King

Have the 4 pots:
Pot 1 - Cl winner, El Winner, top 6 league winners
Pot 2 Rest of the league winners and now runners up
Pot 3 and 4 rest of runners up and 3 and 4 placings

Would make for some random groups.

IF UEFA want to keep the coefficents for some bullcrap ranking to flog off to sponsorship then they can have them as rankings ladder.

Ha ha, mischievous much... So did he table this planned change way back in 2006 when he was elected to the FA board.

Different to the initial tweet earlier how?
Didn't complain at your obsession over all things city/pep the other day.

Topic well covered so the "we've debated this already" doesn't wash.

Gills role isn't into perpetuity. Your club can vote him off but they won't.

We literally debated the UEFA changes months ago and nothing new has changed but the triggered is glorious.

I posted the Pep drugs article as it d3tailed information on his drug cheating, info that wasn't previously available.

trying to actually qualify for the champions league before worrying about other stuff that won't affect us for ages?
So many games on Jose did not even come up with a drug jab at pep

Letting the meme pages on face book down
