i think youre harsh on him. if there was no ucl place up for grabs do you seriously think he'd give a shite about the comp?
its a second rate european trophy to basically help small clubs develop into potential ucl clubs.

If he didnt give a shit about it he'd be letting down his supporters and club.

If a small club mentality is wanting your club to do as well as it can in every competition they're a part of then I'm happy to have one.

Would hate to be the type of supporter that thinks his club is too important for the only European competition it was good enough to qualify for.

At the start of the season, the Europa League wasn't an objective, but seeing as we are now in the final, and winning it will mean CL qualification as we are going to finish 6th in the league, I want us to bloody win the damn thing.
