In what way are city more valuable than us?

Over 1.5 billion in infrastructure and players spent since the Sheikh came on board. Pretty hard to not be more valuable after that amount of capital is invested into the club.

I don't get it.
Off the field they are no where near us.

Something fishy imo
You are getting bigger confused with more valuable.

You have more fans and more trophies but they have and make more money than you. That makes them more valuable.
Nah doubt it.
Unless their owners are also their main sponsor who give larger than market value sponsorship

yeah just different with everyone elses lol

Of course that little fact had absolutely nothing to do with quoting a completely unreliable and unproven method of valuation. Clearly none at all.

Of course that's it. How much do they pay their own club for the naming rights for the ground for example. It's all a fiddle and unfortunately FFP has done nothing to stop the fraud

It's funny how some people are so obsessed by being the biggest though. I bet Bojan checks out other dudes in the shower just to see how he stacks up

Estimates of about £40m a year for shirt, training kit, training ground, stadium, and academy complex (including tram stop).

When we renew (with Etihad or anyone else) I'd expect at least double.

People that worry too much about the size of their club tend to have micro penises. Hope Bojan covers up. :D

Theres no doubting it, they have a larger revenue than you guys.

I'll have to check but from what I can recall our match day revenue is higher. This despite running the club on its own money pretty much.

Not hard to generate revenue in other ways when you have 1.5 billion plus tossed your way. Don't see that as an achievement at all.

United are a much better example with revenues built up slowly over time funded by the club's own money.

I saw figures quoted from a couple of seasons ago that arsenal made £80m through their commercial wing, while City made £175m - just second behind United by £20m. How is that possible when you think of the size and support for each of the clubs? It doesn't stack up, the owners must be ploughing money in through the backdoor to avoid FFP penalties

yeah, they must be. that's the only conceivable way.

so charging fans more to get to games?

how honourable. football purity.

It always got me, people going on about having a high match day revenue as if it was a good thing.

In my perfect world matchday revenue would be £0, covered by other sources of income.

London has always been pricier - for everything.

City should be allowed to speculate to accumulate- but there has to be some limit on it. FFP hasn't worked.

This is what I saw posted in some Spurs website for 2014/15

Interesting to see how far we grow. Y in the next 24 months with all the investment underway.
